erica is correct, drivers have nothing to do with you not being able to see your POST screen. Worst case scenario, Windows would use a Generic VGA driver (which will work for 99.9% of cards... enough to install drivers at least). Check your cables, and if you are getting beep codes, you have a hardware issue, if not it's a dead card or MB.
