NPCScan isn't working because it's authors haven't updated it to work with Carbonite. If you want it to be fixed you have to report the problem to the
NPCScan Developers not here.

If you still want to use
NPCScan the only option you have is to
delete the Interface\AddOns\_NPCScan.Overlay\Modules\Carbonite.lua file until they fix it.
