Yeah -- the player auras at the bottom of the HUD that Xrystal is referring to represent the HOT/DOT bar at the lower center. As implied, those are the buffs (on friendly targets) or debuffs (on hostile targets) that *you* have active on the target.
The thinking behind this is that it is of limited value to know what all of the buffs/debuffs on the target are. If you really must know, that info is provided in the big aura bars section at the top right of the dashboard. However, what you *really* need to know is what are *your* buffs/debuffs on the target and how much longer before they expire. That's what the HOT/DOT bar does.
