Oh, I didn't have to worry about that, since I spent almost the entire first week I was in there on a no-food-at-all 'diet' (ie nothing but the IV). Then a few days on clear fluids, followed by a couple on full fluids, then finally solids again. Even now I'm still having to take it easy on what I eat. Trying hard not to land back in there. For reference, acute severe pancreatitis is a whole lot less than fun.
