Speaking of food, my new gyutou arrived and I'm all excited
Lent my last one to a friend, and it turns out he doesn't really know how to care for a blade. Oh well. He can keep that one.
You never know what you have until it's gone, and a knife set without a gyutou is no fun.
Surprisingly not a bad factory finish, but it's gonna need some grinding to get the edge to a finer angle.
Time to whip me up some chawanmushi!
