You might want to re-read Cairenn's post
I am not going to try and pretend to speak for the Carbonite authors, but their motivations to avoid WoWMatrix has nothing to do with what the addon sites did. The Carbonite authors themselves want to avoid WoWMatrix, and if you like their addon enough to call it a really good addon, perhaps you can take their and this addon site's word that there is more to WoWMatrix than you realize, hmm?
