I live in Australia, but you could probably hear my /facepalm in the States when I read the code and realized most of it was commented out to give the impression that it actually does something when it was really a April fools joke.

Actually, it's not commented out, it's valid syntax for a string, see the below for example. The code is 100% valid and would technically work thought.
