It's been stated again and again, without their move, everybody loses. That question about how you'd feel if they shut their doors entirely, that was what would have happened today had they not shut out WoWMatrix. They simply cannot afford that bandwidth it's incurring. Without WoWI, WoWM has no where to get it's addons, and sure enough, once again everybody loses.
Personally, I'd rather update manually than not at all.
