yes to some turning off the Uac is bad but also ppl think vistas bad overall so now it runs like XP
(i just hate the pop ups asking me dumb questions) i forgot to ask are u running your net with a router mine myself has a built in firewall and has blocked a few things i didnt want(main reason LOTRO dont work for me lol) try resetting it . but dont give up hope its no wow its something on your computer
