Crashing without fatal error from IMECandidatesFrame

When you input Chinese (or any other languages?) via the IMECandidatesFrame and keep holding backspace to delete the characters, WowB-64.exe will crash without throwing any fatal errors.

If I tap backspace 1 by 1, it won't crash, but if I hold it, it crashes it.
No new errors get saved in the \World of Warcraft Beta\Errors folder.
I can't reproduce it consistently. It seems to happen randomly; sometimes it would work fine, other times it would crash

Edit: It mostly happens whenever the IMECandidatesFrame gets hidden on removing the last candidate while holding backspace. But also in a lot of different other cases. Sometimes the game can even freeze for a while.

OS: Windows 10 (10586.318)
WoW: 7.0.3 Build 21796
No addons loaded and no fonts overridden

  • I input with an added Windows 10 Chinese IME:
