IMHO, this will lead to more patch-day hysteria than necessary. Addons that work with 2.0 are already uploaded in that category -- if it's deleted, all that will be visible on patch day are old mods that almost certainly don't work on 2.0... and authors will be scrambling to re-upload the same stuff they've already posted during patch-day traffic.
I'd recommend:
- On patch day, move all existing addons not in the 2.0 Beta UIs category to the Outdated Mods category.
- And at best:
- Between now and Tuesday, create subcategories in the 2.0 Beta UIs category mirroring the normal addon categories and allow authors to move their currently-uploaded 2.0-compatible addons into these categories.
- On patch day, move everything that's in 2.0 Beta subcategories to the corresponding top-level categories.
- or at the very least, leave the 2.0 Beta UIs category up so that users have something to download when they go looking on patch day.
Either way... great job with all the work you've done helping authors get ready for 2.0!
