I use the find dialog A LOT at work and would like to suggest some changes to improve the one in the UI Designer:

1) When you bring up the Find dialog take the selected text and use that as your find text
2) Allow 'enter' key to work like 'find next'
3) Allow 'esc' key to return focus (not necessarily close the find dialog) to the document.
