This is a custom texture replacement to the existing WoW files, located in the following folder path:
Interface/Buttons/UI-Quickslot2.blp
Removing it from that location, will return your item borders in the character screen (and certain other places) to normal.

Which addon are you specifically referring to? Not all of them need to have their profiles copied because they do them automatically or the default profile is always selected.
