I have looked the forum over and found some posts on making new skins. Question I have is..Do you need a good image editing software like Photoshop or Corel Draw to accomplish this or will any image editor suffice? I am not into the fancy artwork that most like to see or use. Plain and simple black works for me. After trying various skins I am stuck on Spiels nUI Gloss Black skin. The skin allows to see the icons much more clearly and its easier on my eyes.

I like to make some modifications to that skin if allowed but without the software, not sure if that is possible...

If you have any suggestions, let me know.
