First off, thanks for your feedback. It is always appreciated.
Second, there are numerous fixes that need to go in. Our bug tracker (linked within the stickes) is pretty much overflowing; as of right now there is a tight squeeze on manpower, but things are slowly looking up.
Third, if you'd like help - please reply here with a log file attached (information for that is, again, in the stickies on this board) or if you think there is a good chance we don't know about the issue, post it on the bug tracker. We'd be glad to help.
Lastly, yes, it needs... polish.
