How hard (if even possible) is it to change the colors of the mazzleHUD?
Also, does it bother anyone that DUF releases are so stagnant? Is there not potential for the whole UI to break as soon as the outdated versions are no longer compatable?

There is no mechanism to change the color. You can disable it and use a different HUD.
