At present there's really no easy way to change the size of bars and buttons. This is a feature that will be coming sooner than later, but until then the only option you have would be to edit [
Interface > AddOns > nUI > Buttons > nUI_ButtonBar.lua ] and manually change the button size in the configuration at the top... which you will have to re-edit each time you update nUI until I get full layout and skinning support implemented.
