You must have been gone for a while, here's the short version.
Carbonite used to cost money.
Carbonite was then free (all addons have to be as per Blizzard).
Carbonite authors open sourced the code.
Rythal took over code and is rewriting it for WOD.
There is no official version that works for WoW 6.02 and up.
Rythal is hoping to have a working version out by tomorrow. *fingers crossed*
Once he's done you can get it for free.
You can still donate to Rythal for his efforts if you want.
