The Porsche 911 Carrerra 2 was sold from 1989 to 1994. It was the first Porsche 911 model to have the option for the Porsche Tiptronic Automatic Transmission, and was also the first 911 to be offered with AWD.
It was known at Porsche as a
"Type 964", and is often referred to by that name by Porsche enthusiasts.
This one pictured here is a 1991 model, and the color is called "Guard's Red".
