The reason for the errors are probably because you were hacked, marked a spammer and most likely they have that restriction on your account until they are sure you are clean. Therefore, when you go in with Carbonite and it speaks on the custom channels (ie: Punk detections) it will give that error.
As to the hacking, yes - follow a lot of that good advice that was given.
