Now if you could only understand to no end, we'd move this along quicker. The point wasn't that Warcraft is groundbreaking, the pont was that something needs to be groundbreaking in order to peel away fanbase. Warcraft currently is on top of the heap. There are probably hundreds of reasons it got there and remains there, none of which are its own originality. My point is, Aion (or any other game) needs to take elements of Warcraft and apply them in a unique and (gasp) original way in order for it to truly "blast off". It is not in position to do that, as it's going the cliche route, thus destined to fail by its own development path.
