When I use this, the Gargoyles on the side of the action bars dissapear.

Open up the Carb options page, I don't remember under what heading it is, but there is a setting controlling whether the Gryphons are hidden or not. I believe it was one of the last few on one of thepages so you will have to scroll down to see it.
