Is there a way when using follow you to not constantly resize the map?

When I use the Route function to do gathering of all my nodes while going along my map and minimap are constantly changing size as it follows me. I want it to follow me, but I don't want it to constantly be rescaling my map; is there an option to turn off the rescale?

Uncheck "Auto Scale" checkbox next to the map close (x) button.
