Stupid Mistake

I was screwing around trying to get my carbonite mini map centered where i liked it, and accidently put the top bar above further than my mouse can go apprently. Ive basically tried everything i can think of, from deleting and reinsalling carbonite, to reseting the UI in the menus. Is there anything else that I can do. Please, because I love carbonite, and playing without it sucks!

Goto your WoW install directory.

There is a folder the called WTF .. open that up.
Open account.
Open the one named after your account.
Open the Savedvariables folder.


There 1 or 2 files with the name Carbonite.
One is Carbonite.lua
the 2nd is Carbonite.lua.bak


Rename both to something like
OLD-Carbonite.lua
OLD-Carbonite.lua.bak

You may not see the file extensions (.lua and .lua.bak) If you don't don't type in .lua or .lua.bak when renaming as it is already there you just can't see the file extensions with your Windows setup. Of course this is assuming your using Windows of course

If WoW was running exit completely and restart.

REMEMBER doing this will completely RESET all your Carbonite setting.

I'm sure there is another way to recenter the map .. this is just quick and dirty way to do it.

Right click any Carbonite window border or title and a menu will appear. Select "Reset Layout".

Also typing:
/carb resetwin
will reset all window locations.
