Npc tracker

Is there a mod that Will let me specifically track npc's fulltime? Like make a target box for it for as long as it is alive?

Look under the default Keybindings menu in WoW for "Focus Target" and "Target Focus".

Then use an addon like FocusFrame or TWFocus to be able to "see" your focused target.

Is this what you had in mind?

I want to keep a box for it even if I dont have it selected.

AG_uf also supports focus, click the target, type /focus, and it adds another party style frame, amazing for Escort quests and the like.
