FPS drop

I have a problem with FPS dropping to below 10 for about 5-10sec every two minutes after installing nUI+(Also had the same prob with normal nUI)
Is there any fix for this problem or are you working on it?

*Edit* I have tried reinstalling and turning off different addons one by one, but the drop still occurs.

Anyways, awesome UI

Thanks.

I don't watch my fps as a rule unless I need to, like in raids as such. And especially not over the course of 10 minutes

What I did notice however is that when I alt tab in and out of game the fps drops briefly then climbs again. But, I understand that to be normal due to a quick recalc of information that has suddently been thrown upon the interface when I alt tab in.

Mayhap in your case it is something similar or purely a coincidence that every 10 minutes you are refreshing the screen information such as entering and leaving instances or towns etc.

Are you running the game in full or windowed mode? Have you updated your video drivers?

Need you to post a lil more info, if you don't mind.

Open up your dxdiag and click "Save all information"... save it as a text file to your desktop. Open the text file and paste everything under the two headings "System Information" and "Display Devices" (just what's under those two headings).

Your video drivers are severely outdated. The game is highly dependent on your system being up to date... especially your video drivers. nVIDIA and ATI both release new drivers very frequently (sometimes every two weeks, sometimes once a month).

http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

Download the drivers for your system onto your desktop. Uninstall your current video drivers, reboot, and install the drivers you saved to your desktop. Everything will look a bit wonky on your machine after you uninstall your current drivers, but they will revert back to normal after you've installed the new drivers.

Let us know if this helped your FPS.

Almost forgot... be sure to check the system performance guide written by the Blizz technicians. There's a ton of useful information there that will help.

Yeah i found out now. I've been downloading drivers from the dell page and not NVIDIA, so that may be the problem.

Just updated the driver now and im going to check if its any better now=)

try running a raid with as little addons as you can.

Unless your RLing all you need is
nui (+)
DBM
ora2
and grid if your a healer.

See if your still lagging, but the info you posted, your gcard is nearly the same make as mine, i normaly get sub 10 in raids, sometimes when recording sub 4 !!!

In a few days i going to be upgrading from 7xxx to 9xxx nvidia card (and a more powerful PSU)

If you don't need to see all the raid frames during the fight itself you can always drop down to the party display. It helps with the fps greatly. I use it alot.
