latest wow api

i'd like to know where to get information on the lastest wow api. I've been using wowprogramming.com but some functions are listed as "This function is not yet documented" some of those functions are obvious but some are not so. I was wondering where to get the information or is it derived from more experienced programmers?

edit: doh might want to move this to appropriate sub forum

wowprogramming or wowwiki are about it, as far as documentation goes. There is also wowcompares, but that only shows the current Blizzard .lua/.xml code (which you can extract yourself with the AddOn Kit from the WoW site) and diffs it with previous versions.

Documentation comes from addon authors who figure out how stuff works by examining the Blizzard code and testing themselves.
