Building a UI.

I've messed with several UI's and I've ran into a problem with just about every one. They just don't work for my resolution. So my idea is to take some of the greatest inspirations of several I've seen and combined them into one that works for me. The problem I have is determine a UI scale. I run on a 30" Apple Cinema HD monitor with a resolution of 2560x1600. Is there something online that can help me figure out an ideal scale? I feel like some UI's come out being SUPER big and feel as if I am wearing magnify glasses.

I don't think aiming for a particular scale is what you really want to do. I use the default UI scale, but adjust the individual addons to something that works better for my overall interface.

I'd suggest starting with the essentials (unit frames and action bars), get them to a good size and then work from there. It can take a lot of tweaking to get things to exactly where you want them, but it's worth it in the end.

Well, it depends. If the default elements are too large (which they most likely would be on a screen that size), then I'd say he definitely can scale down the whole UI.
