Hitting the good-ole autobuff thing again, but trying not to flog the horse. Would it be possible to change autobuff around so that if you were in combat, lightning shield would cast - or is that un-hookable? Yeah I know, another whiny shaman, lol. I have no idea about writing add-ons, all I know is that having to lightning shield every 10-20 seconds in combat is a royal PITA. I also never realized how short a time 5 minutes was until I began casting windfury web or rockbiter every that often. I've set DAB to pop up floaters when the buffs drop, but still...

Is being in combat a button press?

No, you can't use being in combat to cast a spell.

The DAB Floater idea is what I've been doing. Big. Flashing. Glowing Red. Lets just say I don't miss them.
