Clique Casters

I love Clique-Casting. I always make sure that Clique is enabled in all of my characters.

I'm curious how you guys (i.e. people who uses Clique) configure your options? Additionally, what is your Mazz3d option for the model click-cast?

My characters are still low levels so my options are limited, but I'll edit this post on how mine are setup.

WARLOCK:
I have a personal macro: ApplyDoTs
/castsequence reset=combat/target Curse of Agony, Immolate, Corruption

Harmful:
MiddleButton > ApplyDoTs
RightButton > Drain Life
LeftButton > Drain Soul
Alt-LeftButton > Wand

PALADIN:

Harmful:
LeftButton > Mana Tap
RightButton > Arcane Torrent
MiddleButton > Judgement

Helpful:
RightButton > Flash of Light
Alt-RightButton > Holy Light
MiddleButton > Righteous Defense

ROGUE:
I have a personal macro: AmbushBStab
/cast [stealth] Ambush, Backstab

Harmful:
LeftButton > Sinister Strike
Alt-LeftButton > Gouge
Ctrl-LeftButton > AmbushBStab
Shift-LeftButton > Garrote
RightButton > Eviscerate
Alt-RightButton > Slice and Dice
Ctrl-RightButton > Expose Armor

PRIEST:

Harmful:
LeftButton > Wand
Alt-LeftButton > Mind Blast
Ctrl-LeftButton > Smite
RightButton > Shadow Word Pain
Alt-RightButton > Holy Fire
MiddleButton > Mana Tap
Alt-MiddleButton > Arcane Torrent
Ctrl-MiddleButton > Shackle Undead

Helpful:
LeftButton > Flash Heal
Alt-LeftButton > Heal
RightButton > Renew
MiddleButton > Power Word Shield

MAGE:

Harmful:
LeftButton > Frost Bolt
RightButton > Fire Ball
Alt-RightButton > Fire Blast
MiddleButton > Frost Nova
Alt-MiddleButton > Polymorph
Button4 > Mana Tap
Alt-Button4 > Arcane Torrent
Button5 > Arcane Missiles
Alt-Button5 > Arcane Explosion

Helpful:
RightButton > Arcane Intellect

I don't use Mazz but I do use Clique with both my druid and my shammy.

Druid:

Any Target
Left - Target
Button 5 - Vent PTT
Ctrl Right - Player Menu

Friendly Target
Right - Regrowth
Middle - Swiftmend
Button 4 - Rejuvenation
Shift Button 4 - Lifebloom
Shift Left - Abolish Poison
Shift Right - Decurse

Hostile Target
Button 4 - Insect Swarm
Shift Button 4 - Cyclone

Shaman:

Any Target
Left - Target
Button 5 - Vent PTT
Right - Player Menu

Friendly Target
Shift Right - Cleanse Poison
Shift Left - Cleanse Disease

Hope that gives you some ideas of the flexibility of Clique. Note that with my druid I have 4 ranks of Healing Touch on my bar still as I don't have enough mouse buttons to make HT healing easy and efficient.

As a priest I use this setup:

middle button: Shield
Shift
+ left: Flash Heal (max Rank)
+ middle: Renew
+ right: max Greater Heal
Control
+ left: Greater Heal (Rank 1)
+ middle: Binding Heal
+ right: Greater Heal (Rank 3)
Alt
+ left: Abolish Disease
+ middle: Prayer of Mending
+ right: Dispel Magic
(Dispelling with Clique works really well when using XPerl, since it colors the Frames depending on the type of debuff to dispell.)

To make this easier to use, I use my Fang keypad to bind Shift, Control and Alt to the 3 big buttons at the bottom right.

With my hunter I use the middle button to cast misdirection on friendly targets and distracting Shot on hostile targets. This makes it easy to pull something into the Freezing Trap when you first set your focus on this target. Doing like that makes it unlikely that you accidentially hit this target with your autoshot - you set your normal target to the one you want to nuke.

My paladin currently uses the following set up:

All Frames
Shift-Left Click: ====== Target
Shift-Right Click: ====== Player Menu

Friendly Target
Left Click: ====== Flash Heal
CTRL-Left Click: ====== Blessing of Freedom
Middle Click: ====== Cleanse
CTRL-Middle Click: ====== Blessing of Sacrifice
Right Click: ====== Holy Light
CTRL-Right Click: ====== Blessing of Protection

Hostile Target
Left Click: ====== Holy Shock
CTRL-Left Click: ====== Hammer of Justice (Stun)
Right Click: ====== Judgement
CTRL-Right Click: ====== Hammer of Wrath

Seems to work pretty well (for me at least).

I'd be interested in seeing how a Shadow Priest has theirs configured though. ^_^

Absolutely! The combination is fantastic.

Healing priest here, two-button mouse (currently using Clique for friendly targets only, plan to expand for farming):

Shift
+ left: Flash Heal
+ right: Dispel

Control
+ left: Greater Heal
+ right: Abolish Disease

Alt
+ left: Renew
+right: Shield

CTRL Middle Click ==> Holy Wrath (vs. undead/demons)

Button 4 - PW: Shield
Button 5 - Binding Heal
Shift+Button4 - Prayer of Mending
Shift+Right - Menu
Alt+Left - Abolish Disease
Alt+Right - Dispell Magic
Alt+Middle - Mass dispell
Ctrl+Button4 - Prayer of healing
Ctrl+left - Fade
Ctrl+right - Desperate Prayer

Hostile Units:

I dont have 'any frame' settings as my other spells are not used as frequently. So i have them on my bar grouped based on function.

Hmmmm... wonder what would be good to set up for a Shaman and Shadow Priest?

I do have a high-level Warrior, but am not sure how Clique could be useful when tanking or PvPng exactly. I know that warriors have a LOT of different abilities -- and some only usable in certain stances -- so it makes me wonder which abilities would be the most useful for just simple left and right clicking. I'll have to think about that one a little bit more....

I also have a warrior that I'm trying to figure out what Clique-Cast settings to use.

My warrior is still low level so I don't have much abilities yet, but, I am thinking about how to incorporate abilities of various stances.

With the help of Cladhaire, I could setup macros to activate certain abilities depending on what stance I'm currently in. The one example I asked was Overpower (Battle Stance) and Revenge (Defensive Stance). This way I can bind MiddleButton to use the macro and not worry about if I'm in either stance, it will use the appropriate ability.

I'm sure there will be more "stance" macros that can be setup depending on the playstyle of the warrior.

Thats exactly what ive done for my druid. Currently my left mouse button will do 3 different things depending on the form im in. Same can be done for any class that has alternate "stances".
