Automatic screen recording in arenas

Hi fellow developers,

I'm using a Mac right now and I do love the screen recording feature Blizzard added. The only thing that bothers me is… me! I always forget to turn it off after leaving an arena. So I'm left with overloaded huge files hard to work with.

I had the idea of an addon that automatically turns on the screen recording when entering a rated match, and then turns it off when leaving.

Whereas I figure how to deal with the all in-arena detection (similar to these addons that launch CombatLog logging), I haven't seen any information on how to launch the screen recording… Is there an API (I believe there is) I could use?
