DAB cant click or hotkey

hey there , first of all thanks a ton for the quick DUF update, works like a charm.

however i havent had much luck with DAB so far. the menu is working again thanks to the fixes posted on official UI forums but since then i can not click or hotkey any item on the action bars any more.

i hope we see an official update to the awesome DAB soon as without it , as a druid, i m totally and utterly grounded

Having the same problem here... reset and redid all my keybindings and still can't use them or
click the action bar.

tried the same but to no avail .. tried all different versions .. now running the one loz posted on this site but still the same.

Alt-Self cast and or the Sea library.. they seem to be the offending items.

Disabled both and all is working fine now

only downside .. sea disables buffoptions, alt selfcast and various other stuff but at least i can play again woot

I had same problem with EasyPriest (self cast on right clik). I thought the problem came from EasyPriest so i changed it to RightClickSelfCast (same feature). And still the same problem ...

So is there a global problem with DAB which does not work anymore with other add ons which change the target of a spell to the caster when a special key is pressed (Right click, Alt, Ctrl) ?

My guess is it's those mods not wanting to work with action button mods. DAB doesn't do much different from the default UI when you click a button.

DAB 3.0 does let you define keybindings for self-casting.

Setup a 2nd bar with the same actions as the first bar. Hide the 2nd bar. Go to Adv Config on the 2nd bar and set Default Target to player and check the Force checkbox. Go to the first bar's Adv Config tab and set the Right-click Bar option to the 2nd bar.

My guess is the problem was with the Sea library itself and not DAB. Even if I went back to the default UI with Sea enabled I couldn't use the default actionbar.

No need to have a second mod to self cast if you have DAB 3.0 anyway.
In the bar options you'll see a drop down for "default target" (I think).

Set that so you are the defalut target.. will cast on you if no other is selected.

I still have a problem configurating the Rightclick Selfcast.

I tried this (link rightclick on bar 1 to bar 2 with bar 2 force player(you)) but with differents schortcuts on bar 1 and bar 2 to see what happens exactly when i rightclick on bar 1 :

- no target : ok, spell on bar 2 is cast on me
- non friendly target : ok, spell on bar 2 is cast on me
- friendly target : the force player(you) does not work and spell on bar 2 is cast on my target

If i link rightclick on bar 2 to bar 2, with force player(you), when i rightclick on bar 2 with a friendly target selected, the force player(you) works and the spell is correctly cast on me

So am i missin something configurating DAB ? or is there a problem with force player(you) in this case ?

Er, whoops, the problem is it uses the current bar's default target options, not the ones for the right-click bar. You're probably stuck with no way to self-cast on right-click unless you want to fill a bar with self-cast macros:

You can use DAB and AltSelfCast (as well as other similar mods) if you update Sea. The newest version posted on this site works.
