Created from scratch from different addons. The left box is all chat, the right is status updates, honor gained, reputation, etc. The texture behind the buttons and chat windows, as well as the button skins, Lunar Sphere skins and Opie buttons (not visible here) change for every character I have to better suit them.

Well, boredom and my tendency to be an amateur mad scientist kicked in again.
I decided to see how much of a workable ui i could shove in a corner in a (roughly) 560x560 pixel area.

The result:

Cant say ill ever use it. Id like to change the art eventually. Just tossed it together with some old SUI parts i had chopped up a while back.

Stuf for the frames
Kgpanels for the art.
SBF for the buffs
Bt4 for action bars
ButtonFacade (rothar for buttons, Darion for buffs)
Chinchilla For the map.

TranslucentIrregularityUI for the random inspiration.

resources consumed:

(1) 2 liter bottle of cola
(1) bag of peppercorn ranch sun chips
(4) Hot dogs
(2) Grilled cheese sandwhiches
(1) bowl of tomato soup

Had to comment on this one.
I like the art, its quite vista/windows7-like, though, you should go over a few things.

1. remove the blue border on the art, it doesnt fit that much in.
2. remove the background on the clock of the minimap
3. skin the buttons and the statusbars (health/power and tooltip)
4. remove the up and down buttons, or perhaps get new button textures that fits the rest of the theme.
5. do something with the buffs
6. make the portrait(s) square

Hehe, yeh its a very early WIP. I made all the graphics myself. I'll be adding better up/down arrows when i get a chance to make them, as well as tabbed icons for the windows. I'm trying to keep it as lightweight as possible, currently on 3.7kb

For those that asked:

Made it so I now only have two horizontal bars on both the left and right (Instead of 3) , Added a potion inv on the right hand side and moved skada and pminimap to new areas. My rotation bar now is much larger due to not registering some of my clicks when I did it. Also the mount , companion and aspect buttons both open up to show all my companions/mounts (Select addon) I didn't use it for my traps and such due to its limitation of not being able to be used in combat.

List of all the addons I use and the skins for texturing the rep screen and such.

I think that would be skinner with the Bottom Frame Enabled.

Here is a peek at my UI: I like it to be very clean, so Recount and Omen are hidden until in combat within a raid or party. It is also still a WIP ~

I have since changed the font of the unitframes and colors of the map's borders, to correspond with class colors.

I don't usually go to much for the minimalist route, but I really like this one Tomine. Where did you get the ornamental scrollwork around your unit frames and minimap? Back when I was building a ui I spent months looking for something just like that to no avail.

I searched clip-art sites and image sites and graphics sites for an entire day.

I started with the map art and tried to find another image to match it, and I thought those two complimented.

And thanks for the compliment.

When the servers get back up, I will show a screenshot of Raid/Party frames.

At the time I was looking for something to comfortably fit lunarsphere into. I wanted something that would scroll around and through the buttons and minimap and still look "natural". Needless to say, I was never really satisfied. But then I change ui's like ummm... (insert metaphor indicating something that semi-frequently changes).

How do you play with 9 - 3 fps?

I would first decide whether you want to use the HUD or the Unit Frames for player and target. Seems like an overkill to display both.

I am also guessing you like that fancy font. Try maybe to better organize your scrolling text then? It looks messy... the raid warning is totally drowning in the sea of text.

I would also suggest repositioning some frames to avoid overlapping. Reclaiming some of the space in your UI might improve your game experience.
