Grim UI trouble

Maybe I'm doing this wrong and this happens to all UI's if not done properly, but the Blizzard Default UI is right on top of the custom UI so the entire things a mess and isn't very functional at all. I'm running a Mac btw if that makes a difference. None of the abilities are in the corners and the map is still in the top right, and the old action bars are still on the bottom and right sides of the screen.

NOTE: The issue that might happen if you updated one or a few of the addons below separatly.

NOTE/UPDATE:
Cartographers new update is causing major problems
with the UI DO NOT update it for now. Still having DUF profiling issues.
If DUF does not load for you type /DUF and load default,
if that does not work load GrimUI. Continuing to work on making it
all easier to set up. chat box placement and other settings may transfer
by turning off server side saving and reinstalling the UI.
Ive gotten it to work but it seems finicky.

DO NOT UPDATE: GrimUIcore, DiscordUnitFrames or Cartographer anywhere
but through right here. All other AddOns may be updated via the authors
links without problems, theoretically.

Will it work in the future? - You can update most AddOns either here
or at Curse without losing your settings. I will keep it up to date
as long as it looks like its being used. Any help testing,
writing a help file, coding assistance or donations would be
greatly appreciated. See donation button at the bottom!

Try the new versions. They set them selves up a lot more. Some of the bliz hide frames issues have been remedyed and no mater what you do they should never appear, aside from editing my lua of course.

Also make sure that you check "Load out of date AddOns".

If I remember right there is also a check box option in Macaroons to hide/display the Bilzzard UI frame. I would check that first.

The way i redid the show/hide of most of the frames made it so no addon will control them they are just gone period. Macaroon's show/hide should do nothing or pop an error. They should just be hidden all the time and forever, well.... or until you remove GrimUI. EXCEPT for the vehicle window that should be able to be shown and hidden in a number of ways. I left that blizz vehicle frame intact because of the issue with macaroons bars and vehicles.

Also like previously mentioned make sure to load out of date addons.

i've been reading and searching all night to try and find an old rogue WTF file to help me set up your awesome UI, but with no joy so that means, i either spend another night trying to work out where thigns should be, or i pray to god you see this and show a poor fella some love and post the WTF

one of the archives should have it but i noticed the other day occasionally WOWI removes them might be because i let to many of them archive. Anyhow i cant do anything for you for a few more days. I myself had to set everything up myself when my main comp crashed and i moved to this laptop. Granted i halfassed it just to get me by till new parts get here but...
