UI backgrounds

hey guys so ive made a custom ui for myself compossed of other addons however i was wondering if there is an addon out there or if someone can tell me how to do the following:
(so my example will be Nui as thats a ui ive used in the past)

In Nui the bottom bars are replaced with black boxes which contain the chat,the map and character boxes and then on the other side various addons.
my question is how can i create those black boxes to contain my new ui that i have made and make everything all a little neater and tied in?

Use kgPanels or LitePanels.

is there a way to put chat and combat log into these boxes? and to intergrate addons such as omen and recount?

Yeah, for the chat, you can drag the chat frames to the backgrounds. Just be sure to unlock them first.

For Omen and Recount, there are example scripts available here
