Carbonite for ruRU - any advice, please!

Dear Carbonite author! Thank You so much for the great addon and Your intention to make it work after patch. Couldn't enjoy WoW anymore without it. Checked this site many-many times and was so happy to find the Beta

But it does not work in our damned ruRu locale, at all, not even greeting we are so used to

Please tell me if it possible, where and what we have to translate, to at least have your great maps. Thank You!

Sorry, but we don't support a Russian version. Others have translated/released it.

The Localization.lua file could have Russian values added to it. Don't know if that is all they did.

Thank You for quick response! Unfortunately the last update for russian client was made very long ago, have no hope those people still playing the game

So would You be so kind to give me a clue, if only Localization.lua need to be edited, or some other files? Maybe You did other localisation, French or German, I saw these locales are included in Localization.lua. I just need to know where to go so I could try to compare the files and find differences...

You just have to copy one of the languages in Localization .lua into a new ruRU block, then change each word.

elseif GetLocale() == "frFR" then -- French

Copy the entire block of code, insert below the frFR block. Rename to ruRU.

If you have an older Russian version, you can probably take the ruRU block from there and paste it in. There may be words missing though that would have to be added.

I have done what You've recommended and can't believe it works! )) No errors, no lags. Maps, quest watcher - everything is fine! You are the best! I will write in localisation tread what we need to do for Your addon to work, so I hope nobody will ask You the same questions

I received a message about some people wanting to localize all the settings in Localization.lua and send it to us. If it looks good, I will be putting it in our file.

My Localization.lua file is attached. (working with ruRU locale)

That file replaced French with Russian, so I grabbed the Russian block out of it.

This will be in the next version.
