How to remove a deleted toon from Altoholic?

I have been using Altoholic for a long time and am very happy overall.
Recently I ran into a problem and need help with it.

A toon was deleted from the game but Altoholic does not see it and continues to tell me about mail that has expired on it.
I have removed that toon's subfolder from the WoW WTF folder but it did not help.

Any ideas?

Open Altoholic and right-click that characters' name in the list. In the menu, choose "Delete this alt". I don't remember if there is a confirmation for it or not, but I know this worked for me after I deleted a character.

Correction - IT DOES WORK.
The difference is you need to be in Summary screen.
In Characters screen it did not work.
