Mouse targeting mod for hunters...

this is a targeting mod that lets u scroll your cursor over a mob and picks out the first enemy...it worked great unitl recent patch..could someone please update this..

untrue, I'm using a mod that lets me target players and NPC's in the minimap.

I really could use some help with this mod....I could target players across the map with this mod by simply running the cursor over them quick and simple...I've noticed tab only works when players are in range..

a person on another mod site stated that this would work now??

This should be possible in the client now, something like:
/target [target=mouseover]

would this work in game?? I have no idea an\bout mods but this would be so much more useful then tabbing thru...

could work, just put that in a macro and hotkey it.. then mash the hotkey as you mouseover targets.

Yep, mousing over targets to select them no longer works in WoW 2.x. No matter how much you want it to . The mouse-over targeting mod I used to like--ControlTarget--is completely dead as of the patch. So are all other such mods. And they won't be fixed as Blizzard no longer allows such targeting.

The player must either click a target or click a key (the default Blizzard target select keys like TAB or similar) to select a target.

Clicking a target out of a mod "list" is not allowed any more either (such as with HitList or similar mods). Its why targeting via third-party raid emergency monitors or "auto debuff" mods can no longer be done. Target clicking can only be done on legal frames--the actual physical 3D target (monster or player), unit frames (Blizzard default or otherwise) or raid unit frames.

So get used to it .

I know there is an updated version of ICU out that allows you to target from the tracking dots on the mini-map. But it only works when you are out of combat and doesn't work very well in PvE when multiple mobs have the same name.
