BONGOS - Missing "AddOns" Button

Hey all. Before I start, I read all the FAQ info and such before posting and I can't seem to find a solution. I made sure the files wern't in a sub-folder and I only have one WoW directory in my programs files and C drive. This is for the newest version of Bongos, by the way. I'm sure I put the folders in the right place, but just in case here are my steps:

- Downloaded zipped folder with various Bongos addons in it.
- Unzipped the folder on my desktop.
- Pulled the addon folders OUT of the unzipped folder and put them into C/program files/WoW/interface/Addons. I don't think it matters, but there were also a bunch of Blizzard addons in there too. I don't have to delete these or something do I?


Anyway after all this, on the character select screen apparently there is supposed to be a button in the lower left corner that reads "Interface" or "AddOns" but it isn't there. I'm friggin' stumped. I'll also mention I DON'T have Burning Crusade yet if that matters.

Anyone have any idea what I did wrong?

There is one here also called Bongos TBC but it is oudated.

And just to verify you said the folder structure is right.

Should read :
C:\program files\WoW\interface\Addons\Bongos\
C:\program files\WoW\interface\Addons\Bongos_ActionBar\
C:\program files\WoW\interface\Addons\Bongos_CastBar\
C:\program files\WoW\interface\Addons\Bongos_MapMod\
C:\program files\WoW\interface\Addons\Bongos_Options\
C:\program files\WoW\interface\Addons\Bongos_Rollabr\
C:\program files\WoW\interface\Addons\Bongos_Stats\
C:\program files\WoW\interface\Addons\Bongos_XP\

Also those Blizzard Folders stay. There what blizz uses for their basic UI stuff.

I know you said this but just wanted to make sure it is absolutely right as the number 1 reason for no addon button in the char select screen is people tend to either place the files out of their folder structure (files only) or in the case of addons like Bongo, which have multiple folders, they place everything in a folder labeled Bongos.

Hopefully this will help you. If not try another addon and see if that works.

Well I DID download that one and my folders were all in the right place, and it just now works on the 17th try...

I think it's because I tried shuting the game down completley instead of just logging out. Gah.

Yes, it is best to exit the game completely.

Ahh .. that will do it. You definitely need to shut WoW down completely. All addons are loaded at the title screen. Any adding of addons will not be seen until next time WoW is started.
