HUD stuck ON and not working

I played WoW this morning without an issue. I log-in this afternoon and my HUD is stuck in the ON position.
I log out/in and it is still on.
I go fight a MoB and it does not reflect any changes in my/mob's health or mana.
I go into MazzleOption and see the HUD section. I click HUD off and it goes away and then HUD on and it is on and still ON my screen.

What can I do to fix this odd problem and any idea what could have caused this?
