Luckily, I created my UI for myself and not the public. So, I can have it any way I like

I like it. But that's because I'm the same way I need buttons/info/things all over the UI.

I'm impressed with minimalistic UI's, but I personally couldn't use them.

So I'm a mage, and a buttonwhore. So very dirty.
Whilst I steadfastly apologise for still needing buttons to spamscorch and fireblast, I just like having the blighters around to press and stuff.
I've been fiddling around the past couple of days, and come up with frost and fire alternatives, these are still open to revision as i'm fidgety....

Fire mage

^ have set set the buttons to autofade to lose some of the general busy-ness...

this one's more robust:
Frost mage/PVP nub

working on a minimal but nice-looking UI for next one I think

am also considering one for brand new players using a big keyboard screenshot in eePanels, and placing the ingame bongos buttons over the correct, corresponding keyboard buttons onscreen - a bit like painting by numbers only using an onscreen keyboard so players can get used to where their spells and attacks are etc

*Someone's already had a good idea here, this looks sweet

Nice art!

And that idea would be cool. At first, I was thinking, "what about modifiers?", but then I realized that you could just have the bar page on shift or what-not.

exactly I've made a start on it anyhoo, will post once i've sorted it

The fire mage artwork is here, but you'll need to download GIMP and read the excellent eePanels tutorial here to get it into your UI

how do i post this lot as a compilation? is it simply a case of zipping the files, getting a host and posting the link in the comps bit of the forum? (excuse the dumb question)

***This is now available to download here***

Pretty much your Interface and WTF folders. (Modify WTF folders so your info is out. Such as macros, account name, realm name, etc.)

Then, zip it up and host it at a place like WoW Interface
