Post Need help installing UI mod

Hope you can help me with this one.

Since having to reinstall WoW after unrelated computer problems, I've been unable to install any UI mod. They had worked fine for me before and I can't seem to work out what the problem is.

The path is: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\74-20060822-218-Atlas_v1_8_1

But doesn't work for these either .....
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\55-20060824-226-Titan_v2_20
or C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\1160319188Panza4123
or C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\71-20060403-134-Decursive_1_9_4

I've checked that I don't have duplicate WoW directories and have tried deleting the WTF and WDB folders without success.

Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance.

I've followed these suggestions already without success. I don't even get the "addons" icon on the character generation screen.

Any suggestions from here?

rename C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\71-20060403-134-Decursive_1_9_4 to C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\Decursive

same thing for all those.

Hi again.

That hasn't worked either. I've renamed them all to C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\Decursive or .....\Titan, etc but I'm still not getting anywhere.

What next? Thanks in advance for your help

you probably have something like: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\71-20060403-134-Decursive_1_9_4\Decursive\<bunch of files>
which you renamed to: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\Decursive\Decursive\<bunch of files>

you want it to be like: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\Decursive\<bunch of files>

No, file path is definately
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\Decursive\<bunch of files>. The Decursive file is in the addons file with all the other Blizzard UI files.

This problem only seems to have happened since I've reinstalled windows and then WoW (for an unrelated problem with windows). I had all mods working fine prior to that in the specified path as above. I don't have a duplicate WoW install either.

Do I have a bug??

When you are at the character selection is there a button that is labeled "Addons" in the bottom left hand corner?

I think what you're doing wrong is you're putting the zip or rar files straight into the addons directory, when you download an addon they ALWAYS come in a zip or rar file, you have to open them up and put whats inside into the addons folder

*fingers crossed* hope thats what it is

I'm in the same situation. Having reinstalled WoW due to my computer being formatted, i do not get the Add Ons option at the character load screen. I havent changed the way i have always done it in the past and the files are found in their folder within the Add Ons folder. Blizzard's UI Folders already exist there and work, i unzipped to the desktop and put the mods in the correct path and folders.

Please help.
Thanks

Post a screenshot of what is inside those addon folders, for example the contents of your DECURSIVE folder.
