Looking to replace Cartographer

I'm looking for an add-on to replace Cartographer, something that will help me highlight the areas where quest mobs are found.
And if Cartographer is still working, how has Cataclysm affected it?

I think Cartographer is pretty much dead... hasn't been updated in at least a year.

The Blizz default map and quest watcher list does a really nice job of highlighting areas on the map. You might also like Carbonite, but it has a lot of other things in it that you may or may not wish to use.

Ya it dead. I miss it myself. Nothing is as good! Ive had to go to 3 other mods to get some stuff. Other parts i like i just going with out...sigh

I use Mapster, HandyNotes, QuestHubber and GatherMate2. I hope this helps!

Second Mapster, HandyNotes, and GatherMate2. Not sure why anyone actually needs a quest helper of any sort anymore since it is now built in.

Built in one..well becase you cant get to it with out a mod. And as for me most of the bliz ui is welll ugly or in the wrong places.

I do second the mods listed i also use them all.

Well as for QuestHubber it isn't actually a quest helper addon it just places quest icons on the map based on I believe you completed quests I have it but I am not a huge fan of questing it is just there in the background for me just in case I need to go hit up a few quests that I need rep from or some such nonesense like that.
