Problem with Skinner/Curney's UI-Core Compilation

Im using Curney's UI-Core compilation and having some issues.

When I first started using this I noticed that I could not access WOW's interface menu. I found that by turning off Skinner this problem went away. I've tried playing with the settings with no luck. Any ideas?

Also, if there are any other people using this compilation, I'm also seeing that sometimes when I hit M to go to the worldmap and exit out, my entire UI has dissapeared. I need to keep hitting M to go in and out of the map to get it to come back. Not sure if this is fixable or not but any help would be appreciated. It took me forever to get this UI to the way I like it and would hate to have to start over with a new one.

Have you tried using WAU (WoWAce updater) to update the mods?
If not, I'd suggest giving that a try to see if that solves some of the issues.
Curney suggests it in his UI description too.
