Info panel ?

Is there a way to pull a panel out of the infopanel area & have it remain on screen while I look at another panel?
I.e. PULL the guild chat frame & use the stats panel at the same time or can I disable nUI from loading Omen/Recount or Skada into the info panel at all so that they can display like Grid would?

Thanks

Unfortunately omen, recount and skada and there may be others, that are built into nUI cannot be turned off from being used in the infopanel. As far as I am aware anyway.

Other addons it would simply be the case of not using the infopanel addon that puts it in there.

I think though that Scott is incorporating a feature that will allow us more flexibility there.

You can remove all infopanels except nUI_InfoPanel_BattlefieldMinimap.lua it is the main one that keeps everyting running. you can hide this one as for example i only at this time have Skada showing, all others are removed or infopanels that are addons turned off. Im tired right now so none of this might make sence, or yet it might make pefect sence.

Hope this helps.]

I think the poster is asking if its possible to have the addon but not in the infopanel. With the built in ones it isn't pssible as the moment nUI sees the addon installed it sets up the infopanel stuff for it.

If you edit the source files for the info panels in [ Interface > AddOns > nUI > Layouts > InfoPanels ] you can set "enabled = false" for the panels you don't want to appear in nUI and then the associated addon will no be moved into the info panel.

However, there is no way to have the info panel active and be able to move the addon in and out of the panel in realtime.
