quest timers

got a small question

since i installed nui+ i cant see the questtimers anymore

for instance the timer in CoS ( just noticed it because i dont goto cos to much anymore)

and it does this for every "normal" timed quest , like when u start a new gnome and u have to take the brew in 5min to some npc the timer just doesnt show up.

i didnt change anything or installed any other addon then i alrdy had.

with /nui movers i see a timer bar(not sure if this is the bar for the q timers) but it says so when i keep my mouse on it.

pls help

otherwise great ui

Not sure, but I think those timers now show up in the new quest watch frame/tracker (Not nUI related then) and no longer in their own timer frame thing..

When did you install nUI before or after patch 3.3 ?

The timer bar might be a carry over from when they were separate from the old quest watcher. As Seer said though, now they are in the WatchFrame. I can't remember where in the watch frame they appear though.

Lets rephrase that, its a carbonite/nUI compatibility issue Unfortunately we don't have access to carbonite's code outside of it to make any adjustments to work with nUI.

So, theory goes as follows:

Carbonite ONLY installed - do timers work ?
nUI ONLY installed - do timers work ?
Carbonite + nUI ONLY - do timers work ?
Carbonite + nUI + Carbonite Infopanel Plugin ONLY - do timers work ?

If you can answer all these questions the cause would generally be thus:
If it is yes,no,no,no then its possible that nUI is at fault.
If it is yes, yes,no,no then it is possibly a compatibility issue.
If it is yes, yes, yes,no then it is possibly a infopanel plugin issue.
If it is yes, yes, yes, yes then it is working perfectly rofl

In other words. Disable all other addons and test each of the above and see the results. That will help us identify the starting point of any cause. If it is something in Carbonite that anything outside of it can change then only Carbonite can resolve it, hence the Carbonite Problem statement. If it is something we can work into either the infopanel plugin or nUI itself then that would clear up compatibility issues. So, let us know what your test results show for the above tests and we can go from there.
