minimap

i edited the code to remove the minimap from the info panel by changing a parameter to false, i dont remember what one that is, might you be able to help, you can see in a previous post how i worked the minimap into the ui with the Simple minimap mod and it works nicely.

Exclamation For the record...

Now that the Beta 3 has begun closed testing, I will be focusing on fixing bugs only, no new feature requests, until it is ready for release. Once Beta 3 is available for public download, I will continue addressing bug reports and patching, but will be focusing exclusively on getting Beta 3 ready for WotLK and will only be adding WotLK features to the code.

Testing of the WotLK version of nUI will be limited only to nUI supporters and language translators as a closed test version for use on the test realms though it should also be compatible with the live realms, as well. The WotLK ready version will be made available for public download on the 13th of November when WotLK goes live.

*AFTER* WotLK has gone live, and only then, I will start fielding requests for new features in nUI and at that time will begin making the skinning features available for use.

Edit the file Interface\AddOns\nUI\Integration\InfoPanels\nUI_InfoPanel_Minimap.lua and change the two "enabled = true" lines to read "enabled = false"

Not yet... hopefully by tomorrow night... though it should work with Omen 3, it just won't integrate it at present.

EDIT: er... um... maybe not. If they are still using the mod name "Omen" with no qualifier, then nUI may try to pick it up and integrate it which would blow up the info panel. You could prevent that by editing the Omen integration file, just like the minimap integration file, and setting both enabled = true lines to read enabled = false.

I also had to go into the Interface\AddOns\nUI\Integration\Nui_InfoPanel.lua and change the minimap enable to false to keep the button from toggling the minimap

Loaded up the Alpha and everything looks good. I have omen rc3 and its working fine? It doesnt load in the pannel but Im going to assume thats just because it not in the code yet, otherwise no errors.

Running:
Carbonite
Omen
Tit. Pan.
Ark Inv.

Its nice to be able to play the game again =).

Ill keep you posted on any bugs I run into.

W/OMEN 3 installed it doesnt show the group pannel info or anything in that area, group/person etc.

Omen3

Before I replaced the Omen2 file as you requested the only thing that showed in the Infopanel was Recount info. Nothing else. Also, the player/pet/target didn't show. After the replacement everything showed just fine except for Omen3 which put up its own little window mid-screen.

Great work !

Ok, back to the l-a-g-g-y Khaz'goroth and some more testing.

Edit: the only things I have running atm is nUI, Omen3 and Recount.

Omen 3 Quick fix

I figured out a fix for Omen3

i changed Interface\AddOns\nUI\Integration\InfoPanels\nUI_InfoPanel_Omen2.lua and change the two "enabled = true" lines to read "enabled = false"

Now it all loaded up with no errors and i can still use omen as usual,

you can see in thhescreen shot here , i have moved the rep and xp bars down , detached the minimap , and dissabled the Omen 2 Integration and all is working fine

once the omen code gets updated for Omen 3, i think all will be perfectly in order.

Thanks again scott, will have more coming your way soon, things been tight here as well,

I noticed that all targets, ToT are showing that they have Pets in the UF. If I recall, the Pet graphic was only enabled when the target or ToT actually had a pet with them. I've posted a screenshot of the UF's to show what I mean.

Buggrabber gave this error:

[2008/10/19 09:32:14-1228-x1]:
nUI-3.00.00 (alpha)\Bars\nUI_BagBar.lua:192:
attempt to index global 'nUI_BagBarOptions' (a nil value)
nUI-3.00.00 (alpha)\Bars\nUI_BagBar.lua:141:
in function <interface\Addons\nUI\Bars\nUI_BagBar.lua:106>

And I also get the same error that mscott998 is getting when trying to cancel a buff (and it didn't cancel the buff for me either). I've been turned into an ugly gnome for an hour!

BTW, Mscott998: is your BugSack working? Mine isn't showing up in FuBar
