Blackscreen@Character Selection

Hello, I can't play wow for a week now. I can Login to wow, select the server, but it gives me a black screen
on Character selection as you can see in this screenshot:

http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...710_183417.jpg

To be more precise, I log in it hangs at Success, I hit cancel it brings me to Realm selection,
I select my realm it hangs and back ground seems to freeze.I hit cancel it brings me to character
selection with a black screen.

Things I tried to fix this;
-SET M2UseShaders "0"
-Updated software for everything I have, one by one.
-Got latest DirectX11
-Deleted Interface Wtf and Cache folders
-Windowed mode
-OpenGL
-Repair
-Lowest settings on wow
-Disableing sound on Options
-Allowing wow on Windows Firewall, seen as Blizzard Downloader and Blizzard Launcher
-Disabling my avast! Antivirus
-Run this program as Administrator

You can see my original post here with DxDiag too:

Have you tried making a complete reinstall of WoW yet? Some times (for me at least) the repair.exe didn't fix my problem but a fresh WoW install did. If that doesn't work I wouldn't really know otherwise.
Maybe the repair.exe has overlooked a connection file like Realmlist.wtf or something. I honestly wouldn't know about that though.

Try flusing your DNS cache.

Start->Run->cmd
then in cmd write
ipconfig /flushdns

other than that the only other things i can think of atm is
reinstall wow
and reinstall drivers (AGAIN)

I don't want TRH thanks but if one of these points you in the right direction and they play WoW feel free to gift it to them

Starting at the top:
You didn't mention if you updated your graphics drivers from Windows update or manufacturer's site.
(sorry if you already said it and I missed it)

http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloa...n_win7-64.aspx

Did you first completely remove your existing gfx driver installation and re-install the latest or did an "in-place upgrade" ie let it run on top of old.
If you didn't a complete driver uninstall take the time to do so.

Before linking relevant topics from all over the net
(the fact that I can find so many already hints at the source of the problem)
my guess (and at this point I don't think anyone can do more than guess)
is that you have a defective graphics board on your hands (ie hardware problem).

Now to the linking:
Window7 Home 64bit, Radeon user, identical problem, US WoW forums:

I have to say that it just looks like a gfx card issue.

Suggestion would be to pursue an RMA if guarantee covers it.

What i think she meant was use a cycle test program to test the ram dxdiag does a quick test, The only way to find a bad stick of memory is to run a cycle test if you go to cnet you can search for free burn in software and just run the mem test part. FYI my ram showed up as good to till i cycle tested it and it failed on the 8th or 9th pass. The first thing i would try is the video card in a friends computer to see if it works in it. I had similar problems with my machine and one of the memsticks was bad, Run chkdsk on the hard drive if you find a lot of errors its a indication that there is a problem with the memory or the hard drive is failing.

I also had this issue but it was after logging in and not in the character screen.

changing my spell particle detail in the graphic settings fixed it. (It was set to "user Defined" and I changed it to "ultra" and boom, it worked!)

Sorry for the late reply , I tried everything you guys suggested here.
Deleted old drivers and updated all of them from manufacturer site.
The problem is same. I was able to play for few hours, thought I fixed it but
It was gone again, No idea how the hell.
