Who is liking 2.4 changes?

Hi all just thought i would post up and see who is liking the changes in 2.4 and who is not liking them.

I would be surprised if anyone dislikes the combat log changes, at least

much preferred simplecombattext which doesnt seem to work atm

I like being able to link spells, always wanted to be able to do that!
I like the combat log in that it'll make addons that use it, better!
I like being able to go to AV with my guild, without using addons to stay as a group.
I like laughing at my horde friends, they're telling me that since horde are starting way down the field instead of halfway up like they alway have, most people are just running around confused... the table turns!!

I haven't been to the new areas so can't comment, I'll get around to it from what I've heard it's just a massive brawl between Alliance and Horde, both sides taking FULL advantage of 'no diminishing returns'

I don't like the chat window menus... prefered the dropdown style.
I don't like the combat log.

But I guess with my dislikes it's just a case of getting used to some things that hadn't changed in the 2 and a half years I've been playing...

my candidate for most-obtuse-yet-not-entirely-inaccurate analogy for today!

oh and 2.4.....it has me almost ready to toss my UI and start over, but i think the changes are good overall for the long-term.

I really do like the changes although some mods are seemingly going through some growing pains. I must say though that a few mods went from pretty much exploding to working great after a few hours of updates... Omen for example. I'm amazed just seeing how fast some of our mod authors can solve some of these crazy problems we find on patch day. I also really love the new mod interface that makes it so easy to configure a lot of the new mods... I hope that most mod authors will find it feasible to control their mods from this window. I tried out the new 5 man instance and found it a blast!

Im liking the new features just waiting for the server to calm down with pings of 1200 flying about and then will start the new pre quests for heroic instance.

The 2.4 patch is fine . The new isle and dailies are fun (even better when the novelty wears off and not every 70 on the server is fighting for the same mobs).

And when I am in moonkin I can now just press my mount button and go . And there are a lot of little changes / fixes like that.

The new 5 man instance is interesting, got our butts kicked repeatedly on the second boss yesterday .

I am liking everything except for how it caused minor problems with my mods and the whole being disconnected after BGing thing.

Its a welcomed patch. Now we just have to sit out the problems until they're able to hotfix them.

But overall i like the new changes in 2.4... The way you can link ur spells and dodge and stats into chat and set notes for your friends on your friends list..
