Request: A way to silence the Play button sound on Launcher

I was wondering if any one knew how to remove the annoyingly loud sound that occurs when you hit the play button on the wow launcher?

Start the game with a shortcut directly to wow.exe - beyond that, I don't think there is a solution to your problem.

Turn your volume down for 3 seconds while you hit the Play button?

Thanks for that, at least they're aware of it.

Nearly fell out my chair when I first heard it. I think I woke the neighbours up!

Yeah I could do that but Blizzard kind of warned us against doing that for security reasons, so I don't.

I've been doing exactly this since they put the launcher with WoW, it didn't have one originally. In all that time, I've had no problems with security at all. The main reason is I run off dial-up and I don't need to waste time loading up things that are unnecessary before I can play.

I FOUND A WAY.

Using Vista

1. Open Launcher
2. Right Click your Volume Icon in the Taskbar
3. Choose Open Volume Mixer
4. Change the Volume of the Launcher.

Done.

=D
